The Problem

One sheet, total overload

Cram every section onto a single sheet and it becomes a wall of data. Finding what you need means scrolling, squinting, and hoping you don't miss a conflict.

Many sheets, no coordination

Split by instructor or program and things look cleaner — until you change a room in one tab and forget to update two others. Sheets don't talk to each other readily. What TermPoint is

TermPoint is a desktop course-timetabling application for university and college departments. It is an intuitive visualization and conflict-check tool, designed to clearly present the information a scheduler needs to make their decisions. It runs locally on the user's desktop without a need for centralized databases, cloud-software and registrar infrastructure.

What TermPoint isn't

It's important to note what TermPoint isn't, or doesn't do: It never touches the system of record (e.g. Banner), never becomes an alternate source of truth. What it changes is the quality of what arrives at the registrar's desk: requests that have already been checked against the department's own constraints, fewer rounds of revision, fewer collisions discovered late, and better student access.
